We deliver The Early Years Foundation Stage using this premise (EYFS).
The EYFS sets the standards that we as a provider must meet to ensure that the children attending our settings learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
To assist your child in advancing through the foundation stage, each key person completes observations, evaluations, and plans for each individual child as part of the EYFS.
This data is entered into your child's learning diary, which is accessible online using a tool called Tapestry.
You will have secure access to your child's learning journal (by email address and password), and in addition to viewing our contributions, we invite you to participate by posting images and remarks or making comments on our observations.
When your child starts at the setting we will set up an account for you using an email address you provide at registration.
If you don't have internet access at home, we can set up access at the preschool; just talk to your child's key person to set up a convenient time.
If you experience any problems logging into your child's account, please speak with a staff member.
